Looking for something to do where you can take your dog along to? Below are a list of upcoming events happening locally and across London in September where you can take your four-legged companion. Most importantly, these events are taking place to raise awareness on puppy farming and the rise in dogs being rescued and in need of re homing. It’s thanks to rescue centres and charities like these that ensure every dog is cared for in the way they deserve and to help them find their happily ever after homes. #everydogmatters

The UK’s biggest event for anti-puppy farming will be held on Primrose Hill between 10am – 5pm this Saturday!
It’s a fun dog show raising awareness on puppy farming and advising the correct ways to get a dog, whether that be re homing a rescue or getting one from a responsible breeder. It’s a family event, so not only can you take the family, your beloved dog can come too! There will be a celebrity judged dog show, an agility course and dog displays for you to see. Lots of exhibitors will be there, these include charities where you can find out more about the work they do, to stalls selling merchandise for your pooch.
It looks set to be e a great event and we’re looking forward to going and showing our support. Why not come along too and don’t forget to bring your dog!

Doggy and Family Fun Day hosted by Wallace Kennels Dog Rescue 03 September 2017
Dog friendly event this Sunday at Blewgates Farm, Blackmore, Essex in aid of Wallace Kennels from 10am – 3pm.
A chance for you and your family to go along and see the amazing work Wallace Kennels Dog Rescue does. There will be a dog show for your four-legged pal to take part in and if the kids need entertaining there will be a giant inflatable slide aswell as paddling pools and face painting. Stalls will be set up providing refreshments and food.
Wallace Kennels Dog Rescue are family run and with the help from dedicated volunteers have been operating for 40 years. They can accommodate up to 60 dogs which have been rescued and need re homing
Battersea Annual Reunion Sunday 03 September 2017
Battersea Annual Reunion is taking place this Sunday between 11am – 4.30pm in Battersea Park London. An event where not only you are invited but you can of course take your pooch along too! You don’t have to have re homed a dog from Battersea but why not go along to support them.
There will be lots of fun things for the whole family and your dogs can even take part in some doggy competitions, so why not show them off! (cost to enter is £2 each).
The money raised from the event will go towards the important work Battersea Dogs and Cats Home do. They are the UK’s oldest and most famous rescue centre and take in dogs and cats for re homing, they have been open since 1860 and now have three centres; Battersea in London, Old Windsor in Berkshire and Brands Hatch in Kent.

Victoria Park Dog Show hosted by All Dogs Matter Sunday 10 September 2017
All Dogs Matter Victoria Park Dog Show is on Sunday 10th September between 11am – 3pm. An opportunity for you and your pooch to have a fun day out whilst supporting this brilliant charity.
Want to show off your furbabies good looks? Why not enter them into the categorised competitions, such as cutest pup and golden oldie. Prices are £3 per category or £5 for two categories, spaces are limited. If competitions are not for them, they can just be a dog and have fun in the doggy ball pit.
There will also be a chance for you to meet some of the dogs which need re homing. Proceeds from the day will go back to the rescue and re homing of dogs.
All Dogs Matter rescue and re home dogs in and around London and re home them in their furever homes.
