Time to relax, the summer holidays are here, the kids are off from school, time to take a deep breath and take that well deserved break, but wait a minute, are you sitting there reading this thinking, “uh oh, I’ve not booked anywhere yet?”….Don’t worry! If you carry on reading, we’ve listed a few places which may give you some inspiration and guess what? They’re dog friendly…that’s right, dogs are welcome at these places. After all, who says your dog doesn’t need a holiday every now and then?
If you’re a dog owner, you may be thinking it’s not always that easy to jet off to sunnier climes or take a break, but fear not, there are alternative options. For one, you can always leave them at home, obviously not to fend for themselves, we would never encourage that but that’s where we can step in. We offer overnight pet sitting in your dog’s home so if you have a dog that enjoys its creature comforts, this could be the perfect option. Your dog gets to stay where it feels at its most comfortable, with all its lovely belongings around it, plus the smell of its humans. Who thought leaving them at home could be so easy!? Our overnight pet sitting prices are listed on the website, or get in touch, we’d love to speak to you.
Not planning to leave your dog at home? That’s not a problem, there are now plenty of places in the UK and abroad which offer accommodation that also caters for your beloved dogs so, why not hop in the car, wind down the window and let the air catch in your dog’s ears and whisk them off on holiday too!
Why not discover what the UK has to offer. Fancy some fresh sea air? Dorset Dog Friendly Holidays could be just what you’re after.
Dorset is listed as one of the UK’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (if that hasn’t already tempted you, then read on!) there’s an abundance of places for you and your four-legged friend to explore, such as the Jurassic Coastline, dog friendly beaches and beautiful landscapes with lots of walking trails. Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre is close by and offers lots of exciting outdoors adventures, there’s museums for those rainy days and the famous Monkey World is also not too far away, unfortunately your dogs won’t be welcome there though. After all this adventuring, you’ll need somewhere to recharge your batteries and that’s where Dorset Dog Friendly Holidays comes to the rescue. They have two beautiful cottages, Corner Cottage which sleeps 8 and is based in a village location, 3 miles from Weymouth and 1 mile from the nearest beach.
